Gy interface in a mobile network

Gy interface is a reference point between the mobile network gateway element (e.g. PGW in 4G and UPF in 5G), and the Online Charging System (OCS).

Gy interface is used in real-time charging and credit control, allowing mobile network operators to effectively manage and monetize the subscriber's data usage.
