OSS and BSS are crucial components for the successful operation of a mobile network, and they often work together to provide a seamless customer experience.

OSS refers to (Operational Support Systems). It focuses on network management and maintenance such as performance management, network configuration and provisioning, and network planning and design.

OSS is used by network engineers and technicians.

While BSS refers to (Business Support Systems). It focuses on customer-facing operations and business processes such as billing and invoicing, revenue management, order management, customer relationship management (CRM).

BSS is used by customer service representatives, sales personnel, and billing specialists.

So, in summary we can say that:
