GGSN in Telecom
GGSN stands for "Gateway GPRS Support Node". It is a key component in the 2G/3G mobile network architecture.
It serves as the gateway between the mobile network and external packet data networks, as it receives and forwards data packets between the mobile network and the external packet data networks.
Also it assigns and manages IP addresses for mobile devices connected to the mobile network.
In addition, it applies the appropriate QoS and charging parameters based on the subscriber's profile and service requirements.
