CGF (Charging Gateway Function) in a Mobile Network
CGF stands for "Charging Gateway Function".
The CGF collects Charging Data Records (CDRs) from various network elements (e.g. P-GW, S-GW, GGSN,...), and then it aggregates and processes the collected CDRs, and then it forwards the processed CDRs to the Billing System for final billing and invoicing of the users.
